I rented The Golden Compass. We're going to watch it any moment now. I wonder if it sucks.

Should I cross train inside? I'm still kind of sick... but I don't want to go too long in between cycles not doing anything. Hmm.

I'm sure comments like this are what twitter is for. But I resist.

Have you read the book? If so, it might appease your pain a little bit. But I think the movie is just meh. It moves much too quickly and not as good as the book.

I thought the movie was decent, though they changed the order of events from the book. I thought the acting and special effects were quite good. It worked well as a movie, and didn't disappoint me, having read the book.

What is twitter? I try to avoid joining other sites, cause most of them are just time sinks for little gain.

Its something that you can like, enter thoughts and links to throughout the day and it uploads to your LJ at the end of the day... its not really how I roll, lol.

Random comment/question but I know you use Etsy so I thought you'd know the answer. I ordered something from a seller (only yesterday) and was just curious if the order status ever updates to anything beyond "payment received" (i.e. "shipped" etc). I don't want to spam the seller with bothersome questions (cause, I, uh...kinda already did since I was a bit confused with my first time buying on there ::blush::).

Yup it comes up as "Shipped item", if the seller marks it, that is.

Yeah I just noticed that some things I've received never got marked as shipped-- so its up to the seller to update the status.
