Profile time. I can be a bit cynical, sarcastic and maybe even condescending (I apologize in advance), but I am seeking out patience, peace and understanding (let me know if you have any that I could borrow). I've had this journal for over 8 years, and its been a place for me to get out my thoughts and frustrations when I have had no other outlet to do so. It's therapeutic, and such.
I'm an American expat in Ireland. Cormac and I had our daughter Jane Morgan on July 21st, 2007. I'm mommy. I'm filling the position pretty well; breastfeeding, baby-wearing, cloth-diapering and co-sleeping :) I'm one granola bar away from not shaving my legs... maybe not. We've got Spawn 2 on the way, due October 26th :)

I have a bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Florida, Doing a bit of side work in archaeology from home, but I'm a stay at home mom. My interests in Anthropology now revolve a lot around health and mother/child nutrition and socialization for obvious reasons. I'm also starting my own baking business, mostly cakes for special occasions, so expect a surge in pictures of delicious treats on my journal.
